If you have never completed a WebQuest before, a short explanation is in order. A WebQuest is a project designed to encourage students to use online resources and search methods in order to discover content material for themselves. In this case, the focus of this WebQuest will be on the Renaissance, Reformation, and Counter-Reformation in Western Europe between 1300 CE and 1550 CE. The goal of this WebQuest is not simply to expose students to information on this subject, but to help them understand how to better search for acceptable academic sources, how to effectively use education sites and streaming media such as video and audio podcasts, and how to gather information from a variety of sources.
This WebQuest features six particular tasks, which will be further explained on the Task Page.
